Payment Policies

  • Payment Methods - We accept cash, credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only), and company checks (from established customers).  We do not accept personal checks or promises to pay.
  • Purchase Orders - We accept purchase orders only from schools with established accounts with us and a few companies that have been doing business with us for a long time.
  • Credit - Service Sports, as a policy, does not offer credit. If you need it, we will refer you to a local bank that doesn’t sell sporting goods and is willing to extend you credit if you fulfill their requirements. We are a small business and cannot afford to go into the credit business and keep our prices competitive at the same time.

 

You’ll find when dealing with us that Service Sports is fair, honest, and up front.  You won’t find yourself a victim of fast talk, false promises, or corporate indifference.  Our policies are clear and simple to understand.  You won’t need a legal degree to understand the fine print. Return Policies

  • We accept returns on goods that are defective. In some cases, we accept returns on items purchased that are unused and in their original packaging.  Used items are not returnable.

Deliveries

  • We provide on-time delivery of team purchases in the Detroit area.
  • Delivery time will depend on item availability and quantities. Custom orders and out-of-season equipment generally take longer. In-season equipment is usually in stock and can be delivered faster.
  • UPS Air and Ground delivery is also available for a fee.

 

Warranties

  • Most items purchased come with manufacturer warranties. In most cases, a manufacturer will either repair or replace a defective product at no charge to you during the warranty period.  Your Service Sports representative will inform you of warranty specifics as part of the purchasing process.
  • Service Sports will also assist you in handling the manufacturer’s warranty requirements and serve as your advocate when dealing with reluctant manufacturers. Our experience in the sporting goods industry and our volume purchasing clout allow us to presuade most hesitant manufacturers to deal with you fairly.

 

Privacy Policy

  • Our customer privacy policy is simple: Unless ordered to do so by a court of law, we do not give out any information, especially addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses of any of our customers ever. Period.
  • Unless you indicate otherwise, we treat all information you provide to us as confidential. Period.
